Online Accessibility

The Gatehouse is committed to creating an online space that is welcoming, accessible, and supportive for all visitors. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, including people with disabilities, can navigate our website with ease and comfort. We are continually working to improve the user experience and apply current accessibility best practices.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) outline how websites can be made more accessible for people with disabilities. These guidelines include three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.

The Gatehouse strives to meet these standards across our site. While we are working toward full accessibility, some content may not yet meet the highest level of compliance. In some cases, this may be due to limitations in available technology or challenges identifying the most effective solution. Our commitment is ongoing, and we are continually reviewing and improving accessibility across the site.

We may update this statement as our accessibility practices evolve.

Feedback

Your experience matters to us. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions to help us improve, we welcome your feedback:

Email: mbarcelos@thegatehouse.org

We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
