Supplemental Programs to Support Your Healing Journey
The Gatehouse offers a variety of programs that supplement our core peer support group programs. These programs are designed to bridge gaps between survivors and their support network who may need additional support, and provide specific services to support survivors’ healing journeys.

Expressive Arts Therapy
Expressive Arts Therapy is an 8-week arts therapy group for survivors to creatively explore their experiences, promote healing, and build community through visual arts, music, movement, and reflective writing. This program is designed to supplement our core programs by offering a tangible and expressive medium to process trauma and build resilience.
The goal of Expressive Arts Therapy is to achieve the following outcomes on our Theory of Transformation:

Supplemental
Young Adults
The Young Adults Program is a five-week support group for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, ages 18-25, to connect with peers, enhance coping skills, and promote healing through guided discussions and self-care education. This program is designed to support younger survivors whose trauma remains fresh and less resolved.
The goal of the Young Adults Program is to achieve the following outcomes on our Theory of Transformation:

Meditation Workshop
Our Moving Meditation Workshops in the Community Healing Garden feature “Ba Duan Jin,” a gentle practice that enhances self-care by connecting mind and body for holistic health. This program teaches physical skills that can calm the nervous system and improve emotional regulation.
The goal of Meditation Workshop sessions is to achieve the following outcomes on our Theory of Transformation:

Support Persons
The Support Persons program offers monthly online support meetings for partners and support persons of adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, offering a safe space to share experiences and find support. This program is designed to help those helping survivors share their experiences, build skills, and mitigate second-hand trauma.
The goal of the Support Persons program is to achieve the following outcomes on our Theory of Transformation:
