2SLGBTQIA+ Support Group

At The Gatehouse, we understand how important it is for survivors of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) to find supportive, affirming spaces to connect, heal, and be heard. Thatโ€™s why weโ€™re proud to launch a new 6-week 2SLGBTQIA+ Support Group designed specifically for LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals of all genders who have experienced CSA.

Breaking the Silence: Barriers Faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse

Surviving childhood sexual abuse (CSA) is an experience that deeply impacts individuals throughout their lives. For those who identify within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, the path to healing can be even more complex due to layers of societal stigma, discrimination, and exclusion. Despite increasing awareness around trauma and mental health, 2SLGBTQIA+ survivors often face unique barriers that can prevent them from accessing the support and care they need.
