Gatehouse Charity Yard Sale

Looking to enjoy some summer shopping? Wanting to support an amazing cause? The Gatehouse Yard Sale is the perfect place for you! All funds raised support The Gatehouse Child Abuse Investigation & Support Site’s programs for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Meditation & Mindfulness Workshop Series

Come out and enjoy a free meditation and mindfulness workshop in The Gatehouse Healing Garden. Participants are welcome to attend one or more sessions.

When: July 23rd 1:00pm-2:30pm; July 29th 11:00am-1:00pm; July 30th 1:00pm-2:30pm

Toronto Victor Walk

The Victor Walk is a national movement powered by an Orange Wave of Courage. The Victor Walk gives a voice to those affected by the trauma of childhood sexual abuse and rape. Join us to raise awareness together!

When: July 27th 12:00pm – 2:00pm, meet up at Old City Hall by 11:30am

Blue Tie Ride

The Blue Tie Ride is a motorcycle ride fundraiser which supports both Prostate Cancer Canada and The Gatehouse Child Abuse Investigation & Support Site.

When: In person registration starts at 8:00am, kickstands up at 9:30am. The ride is approximately 2.5 hours long.

Where: The ride starts from Barrie Harley Davidson, 311 Bryne Rd., and ends at the Clevelands House Resort on Lake Rosseau, 1040 Juddhaven Rd., Minett, ON P0B 1G0.

Registration: Registration is open! Early bird $50 tickets are available now until August 1st. After August 1st, tickets goes up to $60. Additional passengers can ride for $15. For more information and to register online go to: www.bluetieride.ca

Healing the Voice Within

Healing the Voice Within is The Gatehouse’s annual art exhibit and silent auction. Art is empowering as it puts into pictures and words the trauma, struggle and challenges that are indescribable to many survivors. The event fosters healing for sexual abuse survivors; promotes awareness about the important work of The Gatehouse; and raises much-needed funds for its programs and services through ticket sales and silent and live auctions.

When: October 3rd 7:00pm-10:00pm

Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon/Half Marathon/5K

The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront run features three events: a marathon, half marathon, and 5km run/walk. Join The Gatehouse team to walk or fundraise with us! Those unable to participant can still make a donation to support our team.

When: October 20th, specific start times vary depending on the event

Where: Downtown Toronto (Exact start locations vary depending on the event)
